OnePlus Nord 3: Tech Marvel Spotted on Geekbench Ahead of Launch
The upcoming OnePlus Nord 3, the successor to the popular Nord series, has made several appearances on Geekbench recently, revealing key details ahead of its anticipated launch in India and the European markets. The OnePlus Nord 3 is expected to be the high-powered sequel of the affordable Nord CE 3 Lite, and will potentially be a rebadged version of the OnePlus Ace 2V launched in China.
Geekbench listings suggest that the Nord 3 will boast the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, the same chipset found in the OnePlus Ace 2V, indicating impressive processing power and graphics capabilities backed by the Mali-G710 GPU. The octa-core processor will peak at a clock speed of 3.05GHz, with three performance cores clocked at 2.85GHz and four efficiency cores clocked at 1.80GHz.
The device is expected to launch with a whopping 16GB of RAM, which will be the highest in the Nord series, making it a strong contender against rivals like the Motorola Edge 40 and Realme GT3. However, we could also see a variant with 8GB of RAM for budget-conscious consumers.
OnePlus Nord 3 will run Android 13 out of the box, layered with the Oxygen OS 13, a favourite amongst OnePlus users for its neat features and smooth operation. It’s also anticipated to support 12GB of virtual RAM.
The display, a crucial aspect of any smartphone, doesn’t disappoint either. The Nord 3 is predicted to feature a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring vibrant and fluid visuals.
Camera-wise, the OnePlus Nord 3 is rumored to deviate from the OnePlus Ace 2V. Instead of a 64MP OmniVision camera sensor, it is expected to house a 50MP main camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. A 16MP front-facing camera will likely cater to your selfie and video call needs.
Other specifications include a 5,000mAh battery with an impressive 80W fast charging support, an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster, and the classic OnePlus Alert Slider. It’s expected to launch with two storage options: 128GB and 256GB.
The OnePlus Nord 3 5G smartphone is expected to be priced between Rs 30,000 and Rs 32,000 in India, according to sources. With the powerful specifications and features revealed so far, OnePlus Nord 3 seems all set to make a strong impression in the smartphone market, taking the legacy of the Nord series forward.
